The 14th International Conference on Parallel Problem Solving from Nature (PPSN XIV) will be organized by Edinburgh Napier University, Edinburgh, Scotland, UK and will be held at the John McIntyre Centre from September 17-21st, 2016. This biennial conference aims to bring together researchers and practitioners in the field of Natural Computing. ==Topics== * Evolutionary Computation * Neural Computation * Molecular Computation * Quantum Computation * Artificial Life * Swarm Intelligence * Artificial Ant Systems * Artificial Immune Systems * Self-Organizing Systems * Emergent Behaviour * Applications to Real-World Problems ==Submissions== Following the well-established tradition of the PPSN conferences, all accepted papers will be presented during small poster sessions. Each session will contain papers from a wide variety of topics, and will begin by a plenary quick overview of all papers in that session by a distinguished researcher in the field. Past experiences have shown that such presentation format led to more interactions between participants and to a deeper understanding of the papers. All accepted papers will be published in the LNCS Proceedings. Researchers are invited to submit original work in the field of natural computing as papers of not more than 10 pages. Papers must be submitted as PDF files. The authors’ names shall not be blinded for the reviewing process. Papers must be submitted in Springer’s LNCS style through the conference submission page: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ppsn2016 Should you need any information, or in case of any question or problem concerning the submission process, please do not hesitate to contact the PPSN 2016 organizers by e-mail to ppsn2016@gmail.com ==Important Dates== Workshop proposals submission: November 18, 2015
Tutorials proposals submission: November 18, 2015
Notification of acceptance of workshop proposals: December 18, 2015
Notification of acceptance of tutorials proposals: December 18, 2015
Author notification: May 27, 2016
Camera-ready paper submission: June 17, 2016
Registration for authors of accepted papers: June 17, 2016
Early registration: June 25, 2016
Late registration: September 12, 2016
On-Site registration: September 17-21, 2016
Conference: September 17-21, 2016
