Digitization has established itself as the main motor of social change in the past decades. It encompasses all areas of culture, ranging from the literary sciences digitized since the 1980s, the virtually reconstructed finds of archeology, the almost completely restructured music economy, to new forms of communication via social networks and forums, which make it particularly clear how closely the concepts of culture subculture and nonculture lie together. The INFORMATIK 2017 examines the achievements, objectives, challenges and risks of digital cultures.

Guiding Theme

Digitization has established itself as the main motor of social change in the past decades. It encompasses all areas of culture, ranging from the literary sciences digitized since the 1980s, the virtually reconstructed finds of archeology, the almost completely restructured music economy, to new forms of communication via social networks and forums, which make it particularly clear how closely the concepts of culture subculture and nonculture lie together. The INFORMATIK 2017 examines the achievements, objectives, challenges and risks of digital cultures.

Call for Participation

As always, INFORMATIK 2017 also relies on your participation! Workshops and tutorials will once again provide the basis for a lively exchange of scientists, business and professional representatives and politics. The submission for workshops has been completed. Submit your contributions to the individual workshops under Call for Papers & Tutorials.

Sponsoring

Support us as a sponsor of the conference! We have put together several sponsoring packages.
