Additionally, the complexity of data is challenging existing IT professionals as they are tasked to comply with regulatory requirements and meet the growing demand for quickly accessed, fully available data.

Many Computer Science and Information Technology degree programs at colleges and universities focus on computer architecture, operating systems, databases, networking, and software application development—but not storage technologies.

The International Conference & Symposium on Storage Technologies (ICSST)) aims to bring together researchers, scientists, engineers, and scholar students to exchange and share their experiences, new ideas, and research results about all aspects of Information Storage & Management, and discuss the practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted.
